2010 AYF CHEERLEADING
“OPEN
CHEER REGISTRATION”
Any girls entering grades
2-8 in fall of 2010 are welcome!
TUESDAY MARCH 16TH
ABINGTON TOWN HALL
5:00-8:00.
Registration fee is $200
per child and $50 each additional child for Mites, Peewees and Midgets and $125
for 2nd grade Mighty Mites (these fees include a mandatory $25 Park
and Rec. field maintenance fee.)
The squads will be
limited to 34 Mites, Peewees and Midgets. Mighty Mites squad will be limited to
20. Registration will be a first come first serve basis.

changes have been added to the Notices page to the left and have been
updated in the town By-Laws.

St. Patrick's Day
Parade is Sunday, March 21, 2010. More information to follow.
Practice start
date is tentatively August 12, 2010. Cheering will start the
Monday after.
The new 2010
forms have been updated and can be viewed and printed under the appropriate sections
to the left. Emails are being sent with important
information for the upcoming 2010 season. If you are not on the email list please
send a request to be added to admin@abingtonmohawks.org.
We would like to extend our

to Maureen Jansen, Heidi Johnson, L'Oren Rogerson, Julie
Dwyer, Diane Ray and Keith Kernan for always being there at
every home game and to all those parents who volunteered
multiple times through out the season.

To Steve Wronski,
THANK YOU for all your hard work in
the announcers booth. Steve would like to THANK
Sandra Temple for supporting the teams through her newspaper
articles. Ed, the custodian, for his support on game days.
Kevin Gately for his work in the booth. Steve McGowan for
covering the booth when he was unable to. All the coaches,
board and cheerleader coaches for everything.

to all the coaches for all your dedication to the youth in this
league.
Mite Head Coach Steve
Maguire, Asst. Coaches Jamie Curtin, Jayson Spry, Chris Robison,
Dave LaRosa, Scott Cabral, Tom Tashjian, Steve DeGrenier and Tom Rogers. Steve
would also like to send a THANK YOU out
to all their wives for letting them coach! Also on Steve's list
are Wayne Campbell and Steve Porter who worked the chains for JV
Mites every home game. But he would like to THANK
his wife Keri the most!
PeeWee Head
Coach Chris Chevelier, Asst Coaches Dan Burgess, Jimmy Glavin,
Matt Dalton and John Force. The PeeWee coaches would also like
to THANK a group of parents who always
stepped up for them, Bob Derbes, Keith Kernan, Tom O'Donnell,
Steve Bell, Steve Wronski, Jamie Curtin and the many Mom's at
the Snack Shack.
Midget's Head Coach
Billy DiCarli, Asst. Coaches Dick Nickley, Vinny DiFazio, Al
Freeman, Dan Riordan, Dan Reardon, Jim Johnson, Vic Cimino and
Dan Kearns. The coaches would also like to THANK
Holly Cimino and Pam McGowan for being their "video girls".
Billy would also like to THANK Jim and
Lynne Clarkson for hosting the Post Super Bowl Party. One more
to THANK is Steve McGowan for all the
great photos and announcing in the booth.

THANK YOU to Lynne and Dick Nickley for cleaning up
after each home game for the last 7 years! Never once did
they ask for help with this. That was not an easy task
cleaning up the entire field and bleachers after the games.

and undying support for AYF. This league would be nothing

Last but certainly not
least, THANK YOU to Tom Rogers for his
many years of support to AYF. We all pray you will continue on
with your remarkable recovery. We all love and miss you!
On a personal note, I can
not express how much we are thankful for everyone involved in
this league. We enjoyed our last 6 years with this league and
have made so many lasting friendships. We will certainly miss
football season in the years to come. So THANK YOU
to everyone who was part of our lives these last 6 years, we
wouldn't have changed one thing!
